What this website does

This is an informational website for independently developed apps and games. The website code does not include advertising, analytics scripts, newsletter signups, user accounts, contact forms or a checkout. Fonts, artwork and animation scripts are served with the website.

Hosting and technical information

Cloudflare Pages delivers and protects the site. In doing so, Cloudflare can process technical request information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, request time and security events. This supports page delivery, reliability and protection against abuse.

Cloudflare describes its processing and retention in its privacy policy. We do not operate a separate visitor-tracking database or add a visitor advertising profile through this website.

Your motion preference

When you use the motion button, the site stores clay-motion-paused in local storage. Its value records whether you paused the animation. It has no account or advertising identifier, stays in your browser and is not sent to the developer by the website code.

It stays until you change the preference or clear the site’s browser data. The site also reads your device’s reduced-motion preference. See cookies and browser storage for the reset control.

When you email

If you contact [email protected], I receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. I use them to answer you, investigate the issue and manage related follow-up. The email services involved process the message to deliver and store that conversation.

Support messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and handle related follow-up. Records may be retained longer where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. You can ask for deletion using the contact address below.

Why information is processed

Where the GDPR applies, website delivery and security are based on legitimate interests in operating a reliable site and preventing abuse. Answering general questions is based on legitimate interests in responding to people who contact me. Requests relating to an agreement or legal obligation may instead be handled on that applicable basis. You can contact me to object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Sharing and international processing

Hosting and email providers process information needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to address misuse or a legal claim. I do not sell support messages or website visitor data.

Providers may process data in other countries. Where required for transfers of personal data from the EEA, appropriate safeguards must apply. Cloudflare explains its contractual protections in its data processing addendum.

Your choices and rights

You can clear the stored motion preference, choose not to send an email, or ask about information held in a support conversation. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to certain processing. Requests are assessed under the applicable conditions and exemptions.

Email [email protected] to make a request. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority. The European Data Protection Board lists EEA authorities. This website does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about visitors.

Apps, games and external links

Following a product or store link takes you to that service, whose own privacy information applies. Each app may have different storage, advertising, purchase or support features. Orbit Hockey’s mobile privacy draft is clearly identified as preparation for a future release.

Changes and questions

The date above identifies this version of the website notice. It will be updated when the site’s data practices change. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
